Week 7: First Baptist Church DeSoto, First Presbyterian Church Lee's Summit, Illuminate Student Ministries, Cross Fellowship Church, Gathering Place Church, and Harvest Bible Church

Guernsey

A huge shout out to Cross Fellowship from Colorado for coming to Memphis and loving on our G-Street babies all week! We had such a fun week over at Guernsey Bible club with a high of 26 kids! This week the team taught the kids about the life of Joseph. They learned about Joseph’s coat of many colors, how his brothers were jealous and sold him into slavery, how God helped him through different trials, and how he became a ruler over Egypt and eventually forgave his brothers. In the crafts station, the kids made salvation bracelets, and on Friday they decorated and played a super fun cup game! Songs station was a hit all week long! The kids loved the Bible club songs and the church clap, and they even taught the team the dance to the Fruits of the Spirit song! The games were super fun as well! They competed in relays, played with the parachute, had potato sack races, and played lots of Mr. Bear and sharks and minnows! We can’t thank you enough for the love you showed our kiddos this week. We are looking forward to seeing you all again next summer!

Pope

"Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" - Matthew 19:13-14

Praise the LORD for such an excellent week at Street Reach Pope. All thanks to His will and His wonderful missionaries from Cross Fellowship all the way in Colorado! While in town, they taught our children about the works of the LORD through Joseph: how Joseph was taken to a place far from his home, how he gave glory back to God while there, how he showed the wonders of his God to others, and how God used him to save a people. That is exactly what has taken place at Pope! The team from Cross Fellowship traveled far from their home here to Memphis in order to glorify God and share him with others. And HALLELUJAH! God saved people this week! Three children were brought to Christ by the work of the Holy Spirit, through these missionaries, just as Jesus desires. And among them, others were asking questions and having conversations with their leaders.
Rejoice for this great victory! But also, pray. Please continue to pour out your prayers for these children, for their salvation, and for their continued walk of faith. Pray for them as Jesus once did. The kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. :)

Whittier

We are thanking God for another amazing week at Whitvegas. It has been such a blessing to watch seeds be planted, watered & grown throughout this summer. One of the biggest praises of the whole summer, specifically this week, was that Ve’Shun (11) accepted Christ. In Bible story, they were discussing how we have to be perfect to be in Heaven because God cannot allow anything that is not good in Heaven. Ve’Shun was almost brought to tears at the thought of his sin and how he’s not good enough to be in Heaven. He confessed his sin to God, asked Him for forgiveness, and decided he wants to follow Jesus. It was such a beautiful thing to witness. Ve’Shun has been coming to Bible clubs almost daily for 6 years and it has truly been an honor to see God work in him with each and every Bible club. This is what Bible club is all about. The crafts, games, songs, etc are all a means to bring the gospel to these kids and their families. Thank you FBC Desoto for giving these kids such an awesome week of Bible club. They loved the mission impossible theme so much!! From the juice box walkie talkies, briefcase, Polaroid passport, binoculars & gospel air plain in crafts, to climbing through the “lasers”(yarn) to rescue the stuffed animal at Bible story, to dance parties at songs, to rock-paper-scissors hula hoop relays at games - it was a blast all around! Not to mention God blessed us with 51 kiddos on Friday! Thank you for serving with us and loving well; we cannot tell you how much we appreciate you! Thanking God for you, all our Bible club kids, the salvation of Ve’Shun, the seeds being planted/watered/grown and the opportunity to witness His grace in such a clear way. What a blessing Week 7 has been! “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”
~ Ephesians‬ ‭1:3‬

Rosamond

Hey!!! FBC DeSoto did an amazing job this week at Bible club Rosamond and we were so glad to have them serving again in this community. The kids at Rosamond participated in a mission impossible-themed Bible club this week and had a blast! In the crafts station, they got to make binoculars, walkie-talkies, briefcases, and secret agent badges! Each day the kids’ crafts corresponded with the Bible story. They learned how to see God, how to talk to God, how to carry God with them, and what it means to be a Christian. Most importantly they talked about salvation and on Friday, one of the older boys accepted Christ in his heart. Dylan has been asking genuine questions all summer long and it was a blessing to see God touch his heart this week. The kids looked forward to games all week because they got to play steal the bacon, rock, paper, scissors relay, tug-of-war, played with the parachute, and of course sharks and mentos! In songs they played the floor is lava, sharpshooter, who has the penny, freeze dance, and of course some classic Sunday School songs. What a great week it was; we cannot thank FBC DeSoto enough for their intentional hearts, pure joy, and love for the kids at Rosamond! We cannot wait to serve with you all again soon!

National

National was so much fun this week! Thank you, Illuminate, for spending the week with us and loving on the kids. The kids learned so much about salvation and Jesus coming back in Bible Story. They asked so many great questions and are eager to learn more. Crafts was also a blast! They decorated clocks, shoes, and crowns to show how they are children of God. At music, the kids danced to Church Clap, the Cupid Shuffle, and the Fruit of the Spirit. Then, they played Triangle Tag, Crows and Cranes, the Cone Game, and Duck-Duck-Goose at games. It has been amazing to see how much the kids are learning and how much fun they are having every week! We met new kids almost every day and had 38 kids come on Friday to hear even more about Jesus. God has been so faithful this summer, and we are very thankful for His presence over at National. We are looking forward to seeing the kids next week and cannot wait to see how God moves in the last few days of the summer. It has been so special to be part of His plan, and we appreciate all of the prayers and love that have been sent our way!

Kendrick

First Presbyterian Lee’s Summit came to bring the fun at Kendrick Bible Club! Fun was definitely had by all this week at Kendrick. For the last week this summer, it was definitely a show stopper! The fun, the noise, the Gospel. Definitely never a dull moment. The acting of the stories, the animation at songs, energy at games, and the arts at crafts what else can be said. Every day was a constant increase in kids and the fun was not only seen but felt and heard. The story of Joseph and his coat of many colors amongst other highlights of Joseph’s life was God-filled not to mention e greatness of His love. The treatment of others and how God sees everyone were just snippets of what the kids learned this week. At crafts, kiddos were filled with options such as cup games, hand-painted hearts, bookmarks, door hangers, and more. Attention was grasped all week and not one boring moment was had this week. Thank you so much Lee’s Summit for loving on the kids so much!

Jackson

This week for the Jackson Bible club was so much fun with The Gathering Place Youth group. During the week, the team taught the kids different parts of Joseph’s story from the Bible. Each day, the kids learned the next big step in Joseph’s life including his coat of many colors, his betrayal by his brothers, his journey and imprisonment in Egypt, his merciful acts towards his brothers, and how he helped save the people from famine. The games and crafts stations both focused on each lesson for that day. Because of this, the kids were getting the important lessons multiple times during the morning. Games station did this by playing with colored streamers and playing other games like “free Joseph from prison.” Crafts also incorporated the Bible stories by making scratch-off coats of many colors and other crafts about the story. We also had a lot of fun making personalized Rubix cubes, crosses, and sunshine Polaroid pictures with the kids’ own pictures on them. GP+Y was very intentional with the conversations with the kids all week long, and the kids were always very intrigued and asked multiple questions because of this. Some families even got to take home their own new kid version of Bibles because of the detailed conversations they were having with the team about salvation and how Jesus loves us unconditionally. Thank you GP+Y for an amazing week! We cannot wait to have you back next summer!

Johnson

What an incredible week we were blessed with at Johnson. We went out to have Bible club, we met lots of kids, and showed them lots of love! Thanks be to God and to his missionaries from the Gathering Place for being unashamed to share Christ with this community and these children. Throughout the week they taught our children about the life of Joseph who throughout persecution and persistent troubles, constantly prayed to and gave glory to God in heaven. Along with these lessons, it was wonderful to see the impact of the relationships being built between missionary and child. Seeing team members and children coloring personalized Rubik's cubes, watching the older boys decorate their leaders as superheroes, and hearing ladies teach each other new dances were among the many daily joys of getting to be at Bible Club this week. One of my favorite moments from the week was at the games station, where children had decorated each other in many, colored clothes like Joseph. The older girls were so excited to show off their new threads, they had a make-shift fashion show! But that is nothing compared to the joy of knowing that a child accepted Christ as Lord and Savior on Friday! Pray for Charmiyah as she begins an eternal relationship with her new Heavenly Father. Thank you for all your prayers this summer, and thank you again for the Gathering Place returning to love on these wonderful children. We are, yes, we are Johnson!

Week 6: Prattville First United Methodist Church, The MET Church, First Baptist Church of Liberty, The Brook, Osseo United Methodist Church, Faircreek Church, and Grace Church of Ovilla

 Guernsey

We had so much fun over at Bible club Guernsey with FBC Liberty! All week the kids learned about the truths of Jesus Christ. They learned about how Jesus is our promised Savior, how He is God’s son, how He shows mercy, how He died and rose again to save sinners, and about how Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit. In crafts the kids loved making picture frames, salvation paper chains, coupon books for their parents with coupons for free hugs, globes to remind the kids to spread the gospel, and crosses that say, “Jesus is Alive!”. In songs station, the kids loved singing along to Bible club songs, Father Abraham, KidzBop, Jo Jo Siwa, and the cupid shuffle. They also loved playing extreme duck, duck, goose, and making flowers out of pipe cleaners with the songs team. In games, the kids played tug-of-war, tag, blew bubbles, and played with chalk. Praise the Lord that twenty-four different children were able to come to Bible club this week, and hear about Jesus and receive lunches. We can't wait to see what the last few weeks hold for Bible club Guernsey.

Pope

P-O-P-E! Pope is where you wanna be! This week, with an average of 32 and a high of 42 kids on Friday, Bible club Pope is where the community wanted to be. Huge thanks to the missionaries from Prattville FUMC for hosting such an exciting and joy-filled club. The proof of their love and intentionality towards building relationships with these children was so evident: not only did 27 of our kids come every single day without missing, but they invited their friends and neighbors, and cousins. Also, every single day a new parent or community member would stop by asking about our program, having either drove by or received an invitation from the team.  While on-site, children made beautiful mosaics, road boats, cracked open Easter eggs, danced amongst the bubbles, and learned about God's truths through simple and relatable skits. One of my personal favorite parts of the week was watching the energetic choreography at songs and hearing the children sing about the many promises of God: that He is preparing a big house for us, that He rescues from storms of life, that He is in control so that we can stand strong in Him. Praise the Lord for every smile, laugh, and hug shared at Bible club this week - it was truly filled with his presence. Pray that He continues to draw children near to him. P-O-P-E! If you want to get to heaven, we know the key!

Rosamond

Hey! What a wonderful week 6 it was at Bible Club Rosamond. Rosamond was blessed this week by The Brook church from Madison, AL. It is always a great time when The Brook is in town, they have been serving with us for many years and we hope to continue to see them for many more! The kids at Rosamond learned all about The Way, The Truth, and The Life this week. They talked about the prophecy and birth of Jesus, John the Baptist and Jesus’ baptism, the ten lepers, the death and resurrection of Jesus our Savior, and finally they talked about the Day of Pentecost. Now that we’re pretty far into the summer the kids at Bible club are starting to understand more and more; they are asking genuine questions about their faith and how to be a Christian. It is amazing to see the work God is doing in their hearts even now. In crafts this week, each craft reinforced the Bible story through physical representations of mercy, the Holy Spirit, and the significance of the Cross. The kids made lightsabers, stress balls, mercy cubes, and “stain glass” crosses. The kids at Rosamond had an absolute blast in songs and games playing rounds and rounds or bucket ball, musical hula hoops, four corners, hot potato, and of course what’s Bible club without a game of duck duck goose! This week we had a high of 28 kids and The Brook did an absolutely amazing job loving them and reminding them just how much Jesus loves them too. From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much for serving and loving on this community, see you next year!

Whittier

H U G E shoutout to Grace Church of Ovilla for coming all the way from Texas to
love on our kiddos so well! Thank you for pouring so much Jesus, love, and energy into these kids! With a high of 38 kids on Wednesday, Whitvegas was a blast every day with super involved activities to do. Songs station was always super high energy with musical hula hoops, the Fruit of the Spirit song, and the Hallelujah song. Of course, we couldn’t go a whole week without playing hot potato there as well! For crafts, we made wreaths, salvation chains, crosses, globes, and coupon books. During Bible story, the team taught about the truths of Jesus and had many intentional conversations with kids about who Jesus is and how to accept Him into your heart. They were always super engaged with the kids, getting them to listen and answer questions really well. Games station was also fun like always. They brought an elevated four square game that the kids absolutely loved! They also played duck duck goose, Mr. Bear, and two hand tough football — the classic games that kids will never get tired of! Once again, thank you Grace Church for sacrificing a week of your summer to hang out with our Whitvegas babies and continue to pour God’s truth into their lives!

Que Que

Week 6 at Que Que was a party for the King! We are forever grateful for our friends from Faircreek Church of Dayton, Ohio. Thank you for giving up a week of your summer to serve the Memphis community. The kids at Que Que had a blast at Bible Club this week! They learned about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in Bible Story and made crafts to represent what they learned about. The gospel was told and reinforced throughout the week at Bible story. The kids learned why we need Jesus and His love. At the crafts station, they assembled and decorated tombs and salvation bracelets, to represent Christ’s death and resurrection. The kids had so much fun at the games station playing freeze tag, the cone game, and sharks and minnows. The boys at Que Que also loved having relay races! In the songs station, the kids learned the  Father Abraham song, Our God Is So Big, and Hey Burrito. It was such a fun and meaningful week for both the Que Que kids and the team from Faircreek Church. We’re so blessed to have had this team join us in serving the kids and community of Memphis this week!

National

This week at National was one to remember! The kids had so much fun with The MET Church from Texas. The MET Church did such a great job preparing the stations, walking the routes, and getting to know the kids! Their light for Jesus really shows. Thank you so much for coming all the way to Memphis to love on and serve the kids. The kids enjoyed coming every day to sing some songs, play games, make crafts, and most of all learn about Jesus! Some of the songs they sang were “With Jesus in the Boat” and “The Fruits of the Spirit”. At crafts, they made bracelets, colored, and put together a fruit of the spirit wheel. During games, the kids learned a new game called Toilet Tag, which they had so much fun playing. Most importantly, they learned about how Jesus heals and can change our lives because of how much He loves us. This week was also amazing because we got to meet so many new kids, and on Wednesday, we had 40 kids come! God is doing awesome things at National! We are so excited to go into week seven of Bible Club because we know God is going to be right there. Thank you to everyone praying over us and serving with us!

Kendrick

K-E-N and a D and a RICK! Kendrick! The Osseo UMC team came all the way from Minnesota to come and serve with Street Reach for week 6 of Bible clubs. I am very thankful for the team’s effort and love shown to the kids all week long during
Bible club. We started off the week by going around the community surrounding Bible club Kendrick to various kids’ houses. While we were at the different houses, the team got to meet some of the kids and pass out lunches to them for the day. The team even got to hand out some crafts to each of the kids and describe how to complete them with their own families. This was a really neat way to start off the week by getting to know the kids’ families. After talking and sharing with the families, the team was able to pray with them and share God’s love. We experienced a lot of excitement for Bible club this week from both the kids and their families. The Bible stories throughout the week focused on Jesus’ own life and missions here on the Earth. Crafts station relayed the stories with cute crafts that reflected Jesus’ life. Songs station learned even more stories from the Bible by teaching the kids various dance moves to well-known children gospel songs. All of the kids enjoyed games with many relays using bananas, oranges, sponges, and more. Thank you Osseo UMC for helping out at Kendrick this week!

WEEK 5: Anna Heights Baptist Church, Jamestown First Baptist Church, and Munford Baptist Church

 Guernsey

Girl with kids doing arts and crafts VBS

First Baptist Church Jamestown was hanging out with the cool kids on G-Street this week! In songs station we all had a blast singing the Fruits of the Spirit and having competitions to see who could dance the best and shout the loudest! The kids also loved dancing to the Church Clap and learning a new dance to Let it Go! In Bible Story, Mrs. Lucille taught the kids how to trust God by sharing the story of when Saul become Paul and about God’s redeeming love from creation to the resurrection. On Friday we learned the importance of including others and sharing the gospel. We played some lively games of church tag, sailors and sharks, Mr. Bear, category ball, and lots of sharks and minnows and obstacle courses. In crafts, the kids made beautiful bracelets and adorable bookmarks covered in stickers. On Friday, the kiddos were given wooden cross necklaces that everyone was able to sign as a reminder of their friends and to pray for each other. The fun didn’t stop at dismissal! As the kids were walking home each route played games to help them get home safely. They lined up and pretended to be a train with a conductor, passengers, an engine, and a caboose! The kids also played jump the lava with the puddles that they passed on the way home after club on Friday! Thank you, Jamestown, for always bringing so much fun year after year! Praying for another awesome week next week!

National

VBS Group posing for pictureBible Club National was the place to be this week! Munford Baptist Church, from Munford, Tennessee, did an incredible job serving our whole community. We are extremely grateful that they continue to join us and love on the National kids year after year. The kids had a blast at Crafts Station this week making foam visors and bead butterflies, as well as painting and decorating crosses. Everyone had tons of fun at Games Station playing sharks and minnows, Mr. Bear, tug-of-war, and running through obstacle courses! The National kids enjoyed songs station where they sang fun bible club songs like “Little Red Wagon” and played “Doggy, Doggy, Where’s Your Bone?”. Most importantly, the Gospel was reinforced all week at Bible Story. The kids heard stories of the Israelites traveling through Egypt and some of their challenges with Pharoah. Later in the week, they learned about Jesus’ death and resurrection, and the salvation offered to us through this truth. The kids had so many great questions to ask about the Bible stories and were super excited to learn more about the Israelites and about Jesus. Munford Baptist loved on the kids with their whole hearts and we are so happy they joined us at National this week. We cannot wait for the rest of the summer at Bible Club National!

Rosamond

FBC Jamestown brought the heat at Rosamond this Fourth of July week! FBC Jamestown has been serving Bible club Rosamond for many years and each year they get to meet the kids where they’re at and rekindle relationships from years past. One of the older girls knows and remembers many of the team members by name! How cool is that? The kids at Rosamond had a blast learning how God helps us be bold, have hope, forgive, and be good friends. They created a chant to help reinforce the stories and each group tried to be the loudest. On the last day, the crafts station had wooden cross necklaces for all the kids and team members to sign throughout Bible club and take home to pray for each other. I know the members of FBC Jamestown will be praying for those kids for years to come. This week we ended with a little rain but that didn’t stop anyone from sharing the Gospel and loving this community. We had a consistent high of 26 kids throughout the week at Bible Club today! And we are continuing to meet new kids every day! FBC Jamestown graciously brought backpacks filled with school supplies, hygiene items, and a Bible and I cannot wait for the kids to be able to continue to learn about Jesus on their own and share with their families. What a wonderful week serving alongside FBC Jamestown; we cannot wait to serve with you all again soon!

Whittier

Kids doing arts and crafts outside VBSPraising God for a wonderful week 5 at Whitvegas! We cannot thank Anna Heights Baptist from Anna, IL enough for coming to serve with us, especially with it being the week of the 4th of July. We know it’s an extra sacrifice to give up this holiday week and are genuinely so appreciative. Without y’all, these kids wouldn’t have gotten another full week of Bible club. Thank you for helping us stay consistent at Whittier this summer so the kiddos can continue to count on Bible club every day. Not only that, but we are so thankful for your preparation and thought you put into every station. Every station was full of unique activities that kept the kids excited about coming to Bible Club. They loved making their very own dry-erase boards, salvation jewelry, scrolls & sand-filled crosses in crafts, loved playing musical chairs in songs & were mesmerized by the puppets at the beginning of club on Monday & Thursday. Also, Bible Story was extra special with different activities to keep everyone engaged including play dough, bracelets, washing rocks like Jesus washed His disciples' feet, and making their own mud to symbolize when Jesus used mud to heal a blind man. Lastly, games were a blast with a variety of games throughout the week - from the classics like Mr. Bear & Duck Duck Goose to Bucket Ball and a balloon popping game. It was such a fun week with lots of Jesus shared - even through a rainy Friday. Thank you again Anna Heights for loving this community so well and sharing Jesus with the Whitvegas kiddos. Thank you for planting new seeds, watering others that have already been planted, and ultimately allowing God to bring growth.

“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”

In the songs station the kids had a blast singing and dancing to bible club songs each day! All week the kids made crafts to go with the Bible stories. They made a “Nets are Full” craft, a paralyzed man craft that you could turn to make him lay down and stand up, a 3D Jesus walking on the water, Jesus calms the storm wheel, and a bookmark with a picture of them and a picture of them and their favorite team member on it! Rosamond

Hey! Ho! Rosamond had nothing but would this week! FBC Paris kicked off week 4 with tons of energy and brought a new summer record of 40 kids! This is FBC Paris’s sixth year at Bible Club Rosamond and watching their team members reconnect with kids they’ve known for years was incredible. The kids learned about the wonders of God, how He made each one of them unique and gave each us different gifts. They also talked about how to talk to God and then on the last day they learned the Lords Prayer. At crafts this week the kids made bracelets, prayer journals, kaleidoscopes, and adorable door hangers. The kids also had a blast at songs and games stations this week with dance parties, intense rounds of hot potato, kickball, and who doesn’t have fun with a parachute. Thank you FBC Paris for bringing tons of energy and love to Bible Club Rosamond this week, until next time!

Pope

Bible club Pope was so fun and energetic during week 4 of Street Reach. The New Lisbon team was a small but mighty and amazing team for every kid who came to club this week. We even saw some new kids a couple days of the week that got to come and enjoy Bible club while listening to new stories about Jesus. Songs station rocked it this week by teaching the kids new songs with special dance moves that they got to learn and let loose to with the team. The kids always had multiple dance parties that each age group was stoked to participate in everyday. The interactive inclusion of the kids in Bible story made the daily lessons very impactful and interesting. They even got to hold and read the daily Bible verses and put up different signs on the whiteboard to help the leaders teach for the day. Many kids were able to ask more in depth and personal questions about God and how He loves and protects us as His children. Crafts was always a fun time with loads of fun decorations with markers and stickers and pom poms. The kids learned the salvation story in crafts by making a multi color close pin worm that was both adorable and fun to learn from. The other crafts of the week helped emphasize the story of Jesus and how much He did for us as children because of His ultimate love. Games station was great with each age group with many different fun activities. We got to play ping pong relays, the cone game, duck duck goose, freeze tag, and many other awesome things! The New Lisbon team will be greatly missed by Pope. Thank you so much for an awesome week, I hope to see you guys next year!

Park

Big thanks to McKnight Crossings Church of Christ for coming to throw down at Park Bible Club this past week! It was a fruitful time all week long! We started the week with 1 kid and had a week high of 11 on Thursday! While we were a smaller club, the sounds of songs was big and could be heard all across Bible club! The kids learned the importance of the fruits of the spirit by hearing stories about David and his journey and relationship with God. God’s kindness, joy, and peace were all points taught through the week. The kids continued learning about the fruits of the spirit over at crafts by making Jesus kaleidoscopes, goodie boxes, kindness planters, Jesus fans, and catching mits. The fun continued at games with endless rounds of Uno, kickball, and sharks and minnows.
Thank you so much McKnight for answering God's call by coming, serving, and loving the community so well.

Que Que

You don't wanna mess with Que! You know we are here to stay!!! Thank you so much First Baptist Church of Tampa for coming all the way to Memphis to share your exuberant energy with God's amazing kids at Que Que! From rain to shine we shared the gospel with every child that came to hear and to be loved by God through your hands and feet. Though-out the week we learned the importance of God's love and provision, we learned how God sent His son to take the punishment for our sins, and we learned how He appoints us to turn around and share this amazing truth with others! Each story had a unique and colorful craft to go along with it, from Jonah and the whale cup games to coloring a map of the earth. One of my personal favorite stations this week, though, was songs. Our 10 and 11 year old boys giving it there all and dancing to some well choreographed dance moves was an absolute joy to watch. "See Heaven open up, the Spirit of our God descending like a dove on Jesus!" We cannot thank the Missionaries from Tampa enough for their willingness to answer God's call and serve. Please continue to pray for the children at club Que Que.

Whittier

Week 4 at Whitvegas was a party for sure - thank you so much to Franklin FUMC for coming to serve with us for a week. We praise God for your sacrifice of your time & resources. We couldn’t have done this week at Whittier without y’all. Because of your sacrifice, these kids got to learn more about their Savior & feel His love in a tangible way at Bible club. Special shout-out to Bible story for the interactive skits, memory verse cards, hands-on props and everything you all did to keep the kids engaged & learning more about Jesus. They also loved running through the tunnel as they arrived at Bible story - so many priceless smiles!! Another blessing from this week is all the new Bible club kids who came for their first time! So many said they had a blast & can’t wait to come back again. What a blessing to see them draw closer to Him. Please continue to pray for understanding/receiving of the gospel, that all staff & volunteers would be grounded in Jesus & full of energy and that more and more kids would come every single day, ready & excited to learn more about Him & His love for them. Thank you Lord for another amazing week & the blessing that Franklin FUMC has been to us & the community this week.

WEEK 3: Christ Church, Meadow Brook Baptist Church, First Baptist Church Fisherville, Connection Church, Bridgeway Church, Arrowwood Baptist Church, Christ Harbor Church, Calvary Baptist Church, and Faith Community Church.

Kendrick

The boys of Meadow Brook Baptist came to partay! Everyday at Kendrick Bible club was filled with fun and excitement. Each day was a new day and spin on all the kids favorite things. From chanting the Gospel Cheer to singing Squirmy the Worm, no amount of boredom was had. Each child was intentionally taught the Gospel through the help of an evangicube. There wasn’t a kid who didn’t want to share about what they learned about Jesus and what he did for us at all this week. Crafts were filled with stuffed hearts, stain-glassed frames, David and Goliath scenes, friendship books, and tambourines that were made to make a joyful noise! Let’s not forget about the Bible Story where the kids learned all about David and his life. From David as a boy, a friend, and a King the kids at Kendrick Bible Club were saturated in love and learned all about God’s love. All the kids had amazing questions and learned so much about the Gospel and how much Jesus loves them. Thank you Meadow Brook Baptist for loving the kids at Kendrick Bible Club so well!

Jackson

Arrowwood Baptist absolutely knocked Jackson out of the water this week at Bible club! The kids learned even more fun Bible club songs and mini-games during songs station this week, but we cannot forget the epic dance parties either. Games station was always a blast with many different types of games and activities for the kids to enjoy and learn. Bible story and crafts both carried the themes of God working in David’s life and how Jesus is the way to our salvation. Every kid gave several reasons to be thankful to the Lord, bless the Lord, and praise the Lord. Each of the Bible stories was ended with countless questions from the kids about God and His wonders and some cool treats. Each day was emphasized by the cutest crafts depicting the different stories of David and how great our Savior is and how much He loves us as His children. The kids were able to make and decorate their own sheep pastures, foam slingshots, and scratch-off colorful cross hangers. On Friday, the kids even got to make their own tambourines with bells and decorations to represent making a joyful noise unto the Lord. I cannot wait for Arrowwood to come back next year for another amazing week!

Guernsey

We had a fantastic week hanging out with Christ Harbor at G-Street! This week the theme was Mega Sports Camp and each day the kids learned different ways to conquer the day. They learned they can conquer the day when they practice with purpose, listen to their leaders, remember to recharge, compete with courage, and to skip the short cuts. The memory verse of the week was Romans 8:37. “We are more than conquerors through him who loved us”. Each day started out with a hype rally where they introduced their mascot, Mega! The kids loved getting to meet Mega and playing with him in the stations every day! Mega even taught the kids his special handshake that they did all week! In Bible story the kids learned about David and how he improved his skills, was chosen by God, wrote to recharge, conquered Goliath, and honored God. In crafts the kids painted washers and made necklaces, made refrigerator magnets, and door hangers! In songs the kids had so much fun dancing to the memory verse song, “Who is the King of the Jungle?”, the cupid shuffle, and the cha cha slide. Over at games station the kids had a blast playing nine square, parachute, tag, and ladder ball! Thank you so much Christ Harbor for bringing the fun this week! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds at Bible Club Guernsey!

Johnson

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” - 1 Corinthians 13:4

Thank you Calvary Baptist Church for showing our kids at Johnson what true love looks like! This week we learned a lot about God through the life of King David! We learned to be strong and trust God to help us face our fears, from his encounter with Goliath. We also discovered what true friendship looks like, as well as what it means for Jesus to be our shepherd! The kids made some awesome crowns to remind them of king David and his journeys. They also made some really cool Goliath cups that they played with for all of Bible Club! We played a lot of sharks and minnows and even learned a new Pac-Man game! Songs was “bussin’” this week!!! We learned some super fun hand motions and had some AWESOME dance partays! Please keep our older girls in your prayers as we were able to have some intentional gospel conversations with them and answer their questions about heaven and what it truly means to be a christian. One of our older girls got her first Bible on Friday and could really use everyone’s thoughts and prayers! Thank you again Calvary Baptist Church for coming and loving on our kids this week! Also, Happy Birthday Kim!!! I pray that God blesses this year of your life!

National

Bible Club at National this week was a blast! We are so thankful that Connection Church came all the way from Orlando, Florida to serve the kids. Not only did the kids have loads of fun – the gospel was presented to them daily and they were shown the love of Christ in all the stations. The kids learned about the life of David in Bible story and were reminded of the truth that God looks at the heart instead of our outward appearance. In games station, everyone shared smiles while playing kickball, competing in relay races, and playing sharks and minnows. The National kids learned catchy new songs about Jesus and the friendship we have in him. In our crafts station, kids made maracas, heart-shaped pillows, and signed each other’s yearbooks so that they can always remember their bible club friends and new friends from Connection Church! We were truly so blessed that this group came in town and served the community and the National kids with their whole hearts. They displayed the love of Jesus in so many ways this week. God is on the move over at National and we’re extremely excited to see how He continues to move in the coming weeks.

Pope

Week 3 was amazing here at Bible Club Pope. Faith Community from Wisconsin made their first trip to Street Reach and they even brought some of their cooler Wisconsin weather with them because the weather all week long was perfect! From the minute the team arrived at site, they started pouring their love and attention onto the kids. From free play with bubbles and balloons to duck duck goose and football over at games, there was something for everyone. The kids not only got to hear some classics over at song station, but they also got to learn some new Bible songs with some fun motions. At Bible story, every kid was engaged and asking questions about Jesus as well as the story for that day. And then the kids got to rotate over to crafts station where they not only got to make their craft, but also got to see some science projects that left them wide eyed in amazement. They got to see home made film roll bottle rockets, a mini volcano, and also got to see the magic of a needle going through a balloon without it popping.

Thank you so much Faith Community for your willingness to be the hands and feet of Jesus this week here in Memphis.

Rosamond

Hey! Ho! FBC Fisherville did an amazing job serving the kids at Bible club Rosamond this week! We hit a summer record this week of 29 kids and the team did an amazing job ministering to them. All week long the kids learned about David from being a small boy, defeating Goliath, becoming King, and his overall journey with God. The kids had a blast making tambourines and mosaic crosses at crafts. All the kids were marching around club banging on their tambourines making joyful noise. Songs did an amazing job! Our kids loved getting to see, hear, and play with a ukulele while learning some old school Sunday school songs. The kids at Rosamond were so excited to come to Bible club one of the drop offs this week got up at 7:30 that morning to get dressed for Bible Club and he had already made his own name tag for the day. It was an honor to serve alongside FBC Fisherville this week, thank you so much for serving this community so well!

Whittier

Week 3 at Whitvegas was the place to be!! Thank you to Bridgeway Church all the way from Texas for coming to serve with us this week. We truly appreciate the sacrifices of time & energy you made this week. A couple highlights from this week include autograph books & binoculars made in crafts, using a bow & arrow to help learn the memory verses in Bible story and playing tic tac toe with hula hoops & bandanas in games and songs. Extra special shout-out to Bible story station for the costumes, interactive games, skits, individual dry-erase boards, song/rap activity & popsicles that made every age group so engaged with the story each day. The kids were soaking it up!!

“Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.”

Thank you Bridgeway for choosing to follow Him & be used by Him in taking back this community for Christ. We couldn’t have done it without you!

WEEK 2: Living Springs Community Church, FBC Huntington, Stonebridge Church, FBC Durant, Colonial Heights Baptist Church, Forrest Hills Baptist Church, Broadriver Association, Calvary Baptist Church, and Central Baptist Church

KENDRICK
That’s Kendrick! What? Kendrick! It was an incredible first week of Bible club at Kendrick! A huge thank you to Living Springs for all the love and fun you poured into the Kendrick community! Thanks for working so hard to make sure the kids felt a lot of love and even more of Jesus! We were able to minister to 30 different kids this week and ended the week with a high of 22 kids on Friday! This week we were able to see some familiar faces from previous years and got to know some new families too! Every day the kids were waiting at the site eager to meet Living Springs for another fun day of club! This week the kids learned all about making the right choices by hearing stories about Joshua and Jesus. As the kids went to each station, they were reminded of these stories. At song stations, the kids sang about God’s promises, and over at crafts, the kids were able to carve soap, make key chains, truth belts, and salvation bracelets so they could have a reminder of how big God truly is and how much He loves us! Though it was a hot week at Kendrick, the kids stayed cool by playing drip-drip-drop! What an incredible way to kick off the summer! Thank you again to Living Spring for loving the Kendrick kids so well! I am so excited to see how God will continue to work this summer over at Kendrick!

JACKSON
The first week of Jackson was absolutely amazing! The FBC Huntington team went above and beyond every day to share the gospel with the kids at Bible club. The team picked up new kids each day of Bible club too! The kids were memorizing every amazing story of God, Jesus, and other ordinary people that were used to show God’s glory. We also had multiple dance parties that every kid was a part of and let loose with some crazy moves. We even had some live music and were able to teach even more new dances for the kids to enjoy. The craft station knocked it out of the park with the cutest and most meaningful crafts that the kids could not wait to take home and show off to their families. Each had its own special meaning that pertained to Jesus’ story. Parachutes, relays, races, tag...what couldn't the games station do? Each kid always had a blast with a big variety of game ideas. Thank you FBC Huntington for coming to Jackson and loving the kids so very well!

GUERNSEY
"Praise the LORD, oh my soul; all my inmost being. Praise his Holy name. Praise the LORD, oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits" - Psalm 103: 1-2

God is good and shows it daily at Bible Club Guernsey. This week at club has been one packed with joy and reason to worship. The children got to learn about how God created the Heavens and the Earth and yet has an overwhelming love for each of them. They also learned the importance of a relationship with God and how sin keeps us from doing that - that sin is what is wrong with God's good creation. They also got to sing and dance to theologically founded songs like "Father Abraham" and "the Fruit of the Spirit." One of my favorite moments from this week, actually, was watching 7-year-old Kenya who had learned a dance to "the Fruit of the Spirit" song, actually teach it to our team missionaries! This means that the words of these songs are authentically taking root in her life. God is SO good! Huge thanks to our mission team from Colonial Heights for making this whole week such a blast for the kids and for God's Glory. And an extra shout out to them for bringing LIVE music to the song station, guitar and cajón included! All in all, the LORD is doing mighty things and I cannot wait to see what He does next week. Keep praying for Bible Club Guernsey, and I'll talk to you next week. :)

JOHNSON
"We’re goin to Johnson to have a Bible Club!" Gonna meet some kids show ‘em lots of love!  A huge thank you to Calvary Baptist Church for the incredible first week back at Bible Club Johnson since 2019! They were able to share the gospel with over 30 kids throughout the week! We got to see several new faces and some we only saw a few times in 2019. Our older girls had lots of interesting questions about the Bible and salvation, and the amazing missionaries from Calvary Baptist were able to answer their questions with clarity and enthusiasm. On Tuesday, they painted rocks to show that Jesus is our rock and foundation. All the kids wore their adorable new cross necklaces from Wednesday to Club on Thursday and Friday. Tug of war is now a favorite game for our older boys, and the littles had a blast playing hide-n-seek behind the big tree at games. Please keep Bible Club Johnson in your prayers as we welcome new missionaries next week to serve and disciple the children. Lots of sun and even more fun is how I would describe this week! Again, thank you so much Calvary for serving this week and for loving on our kids at Johnson! WE ARE! WE ARE! JOHNSON!!!
- Dr. Dre

NATIONAL
It was an amazing week at National! Thank you, Forrest Hills, for loving our Bible Club kids so well and giving them your all. Forrest Hills did a great job bringing the energy this week and preparing fun, creative activities each day. When I asked the kids what their favorite station was, they said ALL OF THEM! That did not surprise me because Bible Club had everything from parachutes to frisbees to fishing nets. It was so fun to see familiar faces, but we got to see many new faces as well. The best part was when the kids would come back the next day, they would bring even more friends with them. On Thursday, we had the weekly high of 30 kids with us and had a blast with every single one of them. I loved seeing the team continue to be intentional with every kid even as our numbers grew. On that note, most of our kids are out of school now, so we are excited to see this number rise every week. This was a great way to spend week two at National, and I cannot wait to see what week three has in store. Summer here we come!
- Kelsey & Tucker

POPE
P. O. P. E. That is where we wanna be!
It was a great week to be at Pope Bible. Central Baptist answered God’s calling to come and minister to the kids and community. We had a high of 33 kids on Thursday come out and learn about doing good deeds at Bible story. They also got to learn about what WWJD meant on their bracelets at crafts as well as showed off their coloring skills. At songs, they learned some classic Bible club songs like Boom Chicka Boom and danced to some modern favorites like Old Town Road. And every kid was worn out from having so much fun at games. Thankfully we will still have Pope up and running next week. So continue to pray for the missionaries coming in as well as the kids. Thank you Central Baptist for a fun week at Pope!
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth”. 3 John 1:4!

ROSAMOND
Hey! Ho! Rosamond had a fantastic week at Bible club! I want to give StoneBridge and the Broadriver Association a huge shout-out for joining together to love on this community so well. Both teams have worked at Rosamond separately in previous years and it was such a phenomenal experience to watch them, fellowship, together and minister to the community. The kids had a blast learning the importance that our actions have on our relationship with God. They remind them that God doesn’t step away from us, but that we step away from him. My favorite thing to hear when passing Bible Story was all the kids yelling “Satan Stinks!” over and over again. The kids made door hangers, frisbees, and megaphones in crafts to remind them of their stories about God’s Glory and how we can harness it in our everyday life. Every day the kids were so excited to go to the games station where they played Connect 4, competed in relay races, and played a fun game of water tag where the kids also got to tag some of the leaders. We ended this amazing week with 20 kids who all received ‘Jesus Loves Me’ T-shirts and backpacks full of donations from the church. As site missionaries at Rosamond, we want to say thank you for loving the kids so well!
- Jess, Jae, & John

WHITTIER
Week 2 at Whittier was a blast!! So many kiddos were shown the love of Christ through energy, fun, and lots of sweat - the heat couldn’t keep Whitvegas babies from Bible club!! Huge thank you to Colonial Heights Baptist Church for serving alongside us this week. Thank you for loving the kids well, planning fun stations for them, and serving this community well. With a high of 58 kids on Tuesday & four exciting stations, Whittier was full of both kids and fun. From watercolor painting & bracelets in crafts to live music and new tunes at songs, the kids were giddy over another week of Bible club. Please join us in praying for the rest of the summer at Whittier. Specifically, some older boys have been asking deeper questions about faith, so please pray for those seeds to continue to be watered, for wisdom as we share with them, and understanding for the kids that have been asking. God is moving over at Whitvegas and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for week 3 there.

WEEK 1: Mt. Auburn UMC, Stone Ridge Baptist Church, Bridge Christian Church, Fellowship of Montgomery, Loudon County Association, Pleasant View Church, and South Community Church

GUERNSEY
We’re hangin’ out on G-Street, ‘cause that's where all the cool kids meet!! Bridge Christian came to par-tay at G-Street this week! All of the rain and mud couldn’t keep these wonderful folks from bringing the fun and love!!  From the Good Samaritan to Jehoshaphat the kids at Guernsey learned all about God’s Love at Bible story. Songs station reminded the kids of how you can’t be a coconut if you want to be a Fruit of the Spirit. Crafts were filled with reminders about God’s goodness for us and how he loves us. The kids loved making their very own prayer books and key chains!!! Games station was always having fun playing different games like sharks and minnows and doctors and germs! Each station was able to tie their activities perfectly to the theme of the Bible story each day to reinforce the important lessons they were learning. Every single team member was engaged and full of energy, and the kids absolutely loved every second of it! This week we had a high of 36 kids that came to the club to learn about God’s love and Bridge Christian gave everything they had to make sure the kids knew it! We are sending a huge thank you to the Bridge for giving our Guernsey kiddos such an amazing week! We could not have asked for a better week to start us off! We hope to see you guys back next summer!

NATIONAL
Good morning! Street Reach is back in full swing and Bible Clubs are happening! What an exciting time to be a missionary. Club National started off with a bang this week having 28 children learn about Jesus on DAY 1 and hitting our high of 35 on Thursday. Huge thanks to Stone Ridge Baptist Church, the fantastic missionaries who canvased these streets even in rain. They played baseball, made rainbow bats, and even taught our children new songs about following Jesus wherever he leads. One of my personal favorite moments happened on Thursday. Drew who has come to bible club for a few years now mentioned that he would like to become a Christian! One of the missionaries from Stone Ridge talked to Drew and asked him about sin and repentance and salvation, and Drew understood each of those concepts. Praise the Lord! But when we asked him what he thought it meant to "becoming a Christian" he was unsure. I got to speak with Drew about how "being a Christian" is NOT about following rules or going to church, but rather about having a relationship with Jesus. It is so obvious that God is working in Drew's life. Unfortunately, Drew decided that he was not quite ready to take that next step, not yet. Please pray for him, that God would call with His spirit too loudly to ignore. Pray that Drew would begin a new life with Christ that lasts for eternity.  Pray for Bible Club National, that opportunities to bear witness to God's truth would abound all summer long. And in case I don't see you: good afternoon, good evening, and good night.
-Kaden @ National

ROSAMOND
Hey! Hey! Ho! Ho! Rosamond’s Got Soul! What a great way to open up Summer 2021 at Rosamond, with Pleasant View Church! Pleasant View opened up site Rosamond for a great summer and our kids were so excited to be back out there. They shared the gospel of Jesus Christ this week with 33 kids, that is AMAZING! Each day they prayed for more kids at Bible Club and each day God answered their prayer and it was absolutely amazing to watch them walk down Rosamond Ave with more and more kids. The kids at Rosamond had a great week learning about All God’s Children and how to be the fruit of the spirit. They learned about Jesus’ resurrection, how prayer can bring peace to those in need, what it means to be kind, and how to give back to others. The kids made savior scopes to help them stay focused on God and his word, they made kindness planters to give to a friend or family member, and they decorated goodie bags filled with candy to give to a friend they love. This amazing team showed Christ’s love to the kids at Rosamond while helping them share Christ’s love with others. Thank you Pleasant View Church for all your hard work and dedication this week!

WHITTIER
Wow. We cannot even begin to express our gratitude for such an amazing week 1 at Whitvegas - full of sweet reunions, memories, relationships, and FUN. SO many Bible club kiddos (57 on Thursday to be exact) were prayed for, told about Jesus, given all the love & attention they deserve, and given enough candy to last them for the next month. A few highlights from this week include making slime in crafts, dancing/singing to “Let It Go” in songs, going through an obstacle course in games, and watching the real-life wall of Jericho tumble in Bible story. I can’t even explain how much fun was had this week at Whittier. And the biggest highlight of all from this week is the fact that multiple Whitvegas kiddos accepted Christ - what could be better? We are truly praising God for using South Community Church to bring so many blessings to Nutbush this week - from singing silly songs to leading children to Jesus, and everything in between - not a moment was wasted. Thank You, Lord, for keeping the predicted rain away so we could be out there with Your children every day. Thank You for the many blessings of this week including every child, every family, and South Community Church. It truly was the best week 1 we could’ve asked for - see you next year South Community!!
 -Claire & Kristin

POPE
Summer is here! Which means Bible Club is here! Here at Pope, we had an awesome first week of club. Other than a bit of rain on Tuesday, the weather was perfect. We saw a club high of 30 kids on Thursday. Louden and Mount Auburn came out and, from beginning to end, poured their love on the kids. Games consisted of lots of fun relays, it was a full-on dance party at songs, the kids made bracelets and other fun crafts, and every kid got to hear about God and his amazing love for them at Bible stories. And on Friday, the teams went out on routes and talked with, played with, and prayed for the kids and their families as well as other community members.
Thank you, Louden and Mount Auburn for a great week at Bible Club and we hope to see y’all next year!

Week 7: First Baptist Church DeSoto, First Presbyterian Church Lee's Summit, Illuminate Student Ministries, Cross Fellowship Church, Gathering Place Church, and Harvest Bible Church

Guernsey A huge shout out to Cross Fellowship from Colorado for coming to Memphis and loving on our G-Street babies all week...
